Not much going on here. I am on a juice fast for health reasons, so I am really hungry! Not really juicing is not so bad and its good to cleanse. I’ve been a bad girl eating too much sugar so it’s time to take a break and reset.

Question of the Week – What is your favorite pumpkin treat?

I don’t usually like pumpkin, but I made these pumpkin cupcakes with butterscotch frosting that were amazing.

    Hi there! Ugh juice…. I had to do a protein shake thing recently for health reasons as well. It’s funny but I did eventually get used to being hungry and stopped being hungry by the end of the couple of weeks!

      It’s not as bad as people think it is. It’s really good for you in moderation. We have access to so much junk that we need to cleanse now and again. I use fasting time as a time to regroup making plans to eat healthier.

    My favorite is pumpkin cookies. Gotta have a yummy icing on them. I’m actually not a big fan of pumpkin.

    I hope your juice cleanse is going okay. I don’t think I could do it because I’d get too hungry. I do want to find more healthy things to eat though. I need to lose some weight, etc.

    I don’t like pumpkin things! It’s just not a taste I enjoy. I am excited for all things caramel this fall though. Glad your cupcakes turned out well.

      Juicing isn’t bad. It helps jump start you into a different way of eating. I’m planning on going paleo. It’s a fairly simple diet and I lose a lot of weight on it. In lamest terms its meat and vegetables, though you can do a lot with almond and coconut flour so you can have paleo breads and such. I hear you on pumpkin things I don’t know if it’s the taste or the texture for me.

    I would probably struggle with juicing as I’d get too hungry, but I guess that’s the point to reset your system. And I agree- our way of life/ diet seems so out of whack it’s no wonder our society is beset with so many preventable illnesses now. anyway my favorite pumpkin flavored thing would have to be a pumpkin spice latte. While I don’t like pumpkin overall that much I love those!

      It’s not too bad really. It’s hardest at night, then you can just go to bed. It’s depressing what we do to our bodies. We are being inundated with junk all the time. Pumpkin lattes I like them in small amounts.

    Oh goodness I’d be so hungry! I can’t eat a lot of fruit or drink a lot of fruit juice (hurts my mouth) so I’d be in real trouble. lol Good luck with it!

      I’m not drinking a lot of fruit juice. I have a juicer and I juice mainly vegetables. The only fruit is green apples. The hunger is mostly mental because you’re not starving… but it’s still hard but I’m doing good with it just a few more days to go!
