Courtney and Josh are in love and excited to finally compete as skating partners. When they take the ice for their first competition, they want to show everyone, especially Josh's family, they are the perfect pair. But ice is slippery, and one misstep puts all their dreams in jeopardy. Now they must show each other both their love and their partnership are strong enough to survive.
In ” an Oyster Shell – A cozy New Adult read, the second in a series I consider a must-read.
The Pearls – This was a great continuation of the story of Josh and Courtney in their endeavor to make the Olympic team together – while balancing a romantic relationship with each other.
This author pulls no stops with the characters. The antagonists of the story are really hateable.
I love the theme of this story endurance through trials. I love the setting of the Ice Rink because of figure skating.
The Sand – The book seemed a bit unbalanced with tension vs. relief. The was to much pull and not enough push. The book was really short.
Love how you set out your reviews and the pearls. A shorter story is always a bit of a challenge. On the whole sounds good. I occasionally like to watch ice skating on TV but haven’t done it for a long time. It would seem to be a very good setting within which to set up a couple of characters.

I’m enjoying the series so far. I am about to read the last book.
I would imagine that a couple trying to make it into the Olympics together would make for quite a lot of tension. Sounds like maybe it was a little bit too much!

Yeah this book there was too much tension. We will see how it works out in the last book!
