First things first this Friday I am drinking coffee on the east coast York, PA to be exact! Which is part of what inspired this post. The main inspiration came from the Amelia Moore Detective Series by Linda Weaver Clarke. (Reviews coming soon) I am in the middle of reading this series and one of the subplots is the characters have bucket lists. This has got me thinking about my own bucket list.
As of today, I have one thing I can check off being in the North East in the fall. I have always wanted to see a northern east coast fall, and today I am.
Another thing on my bucket list – there is a beer that is made here in PA that my Step-mother loves to drink her being from PA it’s special to her, which has created great memories for me. So being inspired by her, drinking a Rolling Rock in PA is an experience I desired and this weekend I plan to fulfill it.
While reading this series, I am reminded of the importance of making things to inspire yourself. Bucket lists do just that. Just so we are clear I looked up the definition of bucket list – “A number of experiences or achievements that a person hopes to have or accomplish during their lifetime.”
So a bucket list and goals are two different things. Goals give us direction, but bucket lists reminds us of our dreams, and the motivation to achieve them.
So in conclusion… If you don’t have a bucket list make one.
What’s on your Bucket List?
