Without her cell phone to call for help, Scottie makes the split-second decision to take the baby home. Her initial instinct is to provide the baby with food and shelter until her family can be located. But as her fondness for the baby grows, she finds herself facing a life on the run or worse—prison time for abduction.Curl up with Merry Mary this holiday season. A heartwarming story of the powerful connection between a caring soul and an innocent child in need.
In ” an Oyster Shell – This was a story with a lot of strengths. I admire the author’s ability to tell a story with such power in brevity, of a novella, and still leave me feeling like the story was as complete as a novel.
The Pearls – I felt like the author used all of the story elements with great expertise to make a very compelling, heart gripping story.
The tension of the story just kept pushing you forward to get to the end of the story. I really liked how the book focused on the main character, yet you could see the whole story from her perspective. It’s like with the setting and character I felt I was right there in the action the whole book.
I really liked the character development of the main character. She went from being unsure of herself, to coming out the other side of huge challenges to a more centered person. I loved it!
The Sand – This book was literary perfection.
5 pearls!

I love the way you set out your review with the headings In an Oyster Shell, The Pearls and The Sand, very cute! I read Her Sister’s Shoes by Ashley earlier this year and really enjoyed that one.
