Making Angel - eBook Cover RGBAbout the Book:

Heir to a powerful Las Vegas crime family, D’Angelo Mariani’s survival depends on his ability to prove his value to his father. Forced out of the technology lab and into the underworld, Angel is on the brink of pulling off the impossible when he runs into a captivating humanitarian who changes everything.

Markie Davis is all about compassion, service, and the ultimate adrenaline rush. After a year-long stint volunteering in an African orphanage, she’s in Vegas to check up on her wayward little sister. Markie never anticipated meeting someone like Angel.
While Angel always believed he’d be the one with explaining to do, as war sparks between the Vegas crime families, it’s Markie’s secrets that might just cost them both their lives…

Review –
In an Oyster Shell –   A unique mob story with an unexpected ending. You don’t read a story like this every day, I recommend it.
The Pearls – I was excited to read this book because I have read other books from this author. Every book and series is unique so anything you read of hers – is unexpected. This book was no different.
I really liked the Main Character. He was likable, easy to empathize with. He had a streak of rebellion that was with him from the beginning to the end. This character made the story. This was definitely a character-driven read. Along with the MC there was a great cast of supporting characters that made this story page-turning.
The ending was spectacular. It was action-packed. I was so engrossed in it. It was like the grand finale of a fireworks show. It was just explosive. It just kept coming at you. I was really impressed.
The Sand – I felt like the story lacked direction at some point.
I give this 3.5 pearls.
